About Lumina Celtic Harp and Flute Duo
Now located in San Diego, Lumina Celtic Harp and Flute Duo began playing events in Colorado in 2002. Susan and Deborah love the synergy of working together to create unforgettable arrangements and renditions of a huge repertoire of music suitable for concerts, cocktail parties, banquets, open houses, and many other occasions. They love to play many styles of music, including Celtic, classical, contemporary, popular, jazz and rock. The granddaughter of a piano teacher, Susan Zevenbergen fell in love with the Celtic harp in 1999. She finds great joy in teaching the Celtic harp, and in making music with many friends and combinations of instruments. Her other musical endeavors include singing, piano, and arranging and composing. Her harp playing has been featured on several CD projects, including Unlock the Mystery by
Lara Jai.
The daughter of a jazz musician and composer, Deborah Noland has played flute for over 40 years, and has played semi-professionally for 35 of those years. She served a long tenure as principal flute with the Greeley Chamber Orchestra. Deborah also performed often as part of the Sherwood Park Flute Ensemble, as well as numerous other small ensembles in Colorado. She is featured as a studio musician on several CD projects.

Both Deborah and Susan were members of Northern Colorado's Celtic band "Gladden", and played frequently as guest musicians for the Dances of Universal Peace, as well as Unitarian Universalist and Religious Science churches in Colorado. Susan is also a Certified Therapeutic Harp Practitioner trained by the
International Harp Therapy Program.
